E-mailing slideshow

I have tried to e-mail a slideshow numerous times but when i do it is not a
slideshow but the power point page that i am creating my presentation on...
Please help?????
 
Save your presentation as a Slide Show .PPS, and attach it to your outgoing
email message. Keeping in mind that any sound files other than .WAV files are
linked and not embedded and must accompany the presentation.
