e-mailing photos

Could someone please help me .... Everytime I try to e-
mail a photo from "My Photos" the program asks if I want
to compress, and shortly after I click yes it disapears
without prompting for an address. Nothing else happens ...

What email program are you using? Can you insert the
picture into your email when its open? Sounds like its not
configured yet?!?!
