I need to send 200 E-mails to my customer every 2 monts.
It is frustating doing it with outlook.

Is there a tool that I could use to do itr quickly.

This depends on how you want to setup the messages and what you define as
"frustrating" in Outlook.

Tips of the month:
-What do the Outlook Icons Mean?
-Create an Office 2003 CD slipstreamed with Service Pack 1

You can use blank copy in outlook but it is limited at 30 E-mail address.
This is what I mean.

Create a Distribution List [or Lists] and BCC to that... we just did so to
over 200 contacts... works fine... OL2003

That limit is not imposed by Outlook, but by your ISP.

Perhaps Word MailMerge can accomplish what you want.

Depends on your ISP's message limits.

If you are sending via DNS rather than via your ISP then the limits are only
those imposed by yourself.

Provided you run your own mail server, yes indeed. Provided the recipients'
servers don't mark your message as spam. :)

True, True. Which, considering our IP address [although continually
refreshed with the same IP address!] is technically dynamic [i.e. its not
guaranteed not to change] more and more of the spam blocking blacklists are
including all dynamic IP ranges. This means that we get an undeliverable
mail and have to add that recipient's domain to the list of those that are
forwarded to a smarthost we have configured of our ISP's mailservers...

Ah well, the way of the world these days I suppose... no magic answers...

:-)

I'm at the point now that if I have to add one more domain to my SMTP
connector (smarthost) I'm just going to give up and send it all out that
way.

True, dat.

I've written programs to do just that in MS Visual FoxPro. Take Control of
Outlook, and generate the messages. Can also personalize the emails...

I suppose you can do that in almost any language that can take control of
the Outlook object.
