E-Mail rules changes by itself

I make a new rule; "through the specified account", and "move it to the
specified folder". I click finished and ok, and it looks fine, but when I go
back in it has changed the specified folder to a different folder, all by
itself (and of course my mail gets directed there). Can anyone please help me
with this? Thanks! Scott
 
If you direct it to a different folder (other than the intended one) does it
stay?
 
No, every time I go in and change it and click apply, it reverts back to the
same (wrong) folder.
 
If you create another rule does the same thing happen?

It's a real, real long shot but have you tried running ScanPST.EXE on your
PST file? Maybe there's some pointer screwed up that's causing the problem.
 
It is funny, but when I make the first rule that is ok, but every other new
rule goofs up. I will try the scan. Thanks!
