I am trying to set up an email on a workstation, but everytime I try a
send/receive I get a server not found error.

This is really weird considering I installed the same credentials on another
workstation and was able to download e-mail. It seems as if it dosen't work
on this workstation only.

I have tried using the "repair" option in Office 2K, as well as
deleting/reinstalling the program altogether. After I re-installed though,
Outlook kept all the info I had entered previously (SMTP, POP3, username,
password). I deleted the account and re-entered the info, and still no
luck.

Anyone ever seen this??

TIA

I would delete that Mail Account and rebuild from scratch. NOT attempt to
fix. Sometimes, the 10 minutes it takes to rebuild saves hours of frustation
trying to find a transposed character or extra 'space' between letters.

Hope this works. Please post back either way.
Good Luck

You may have a firewall or anti-virus software that is blocking Outlook's
attempt to connect. Could you give the exact text of the error message?
