Hi WIlliam,
I've tried a couple of scenarios regarding e-mailing pictures, none of which
provide an orange box at the bottom of the screen. It could be that an
e-mail application (Juno, AOL, MSN) could have provided this for you, but
Windows XP does not by default.
Here are a couple of ways you can still accomplish the task of resizing and
e-mailing photos.
Method One:
Right-click on the picture, select Send To | Mail Recipient
Select whether or not you want the file resized for sending in e-mail
Your picture should now be attached in your default e-mail application.
Method Two:
Select the picture you wish to send.
On the left hand task pane, under File and Folder Tasks, click E-mail this
file
Select whether or not you want the file resized for sending in e-mail
Your picture should not be attached in your default e-mail application.
I hope this helps. Please let me know if it doesn't, and we will explore a
