I'm doing unique scheduling letters to about 90 people. The unique data,
including assignments and e-mail addresses is in an excel spreadsheet. I'll
write the letters and do a mail-merge but will then want to e-mail each
person their specific schedule letter. Can I do this in Outlook without
manually entering each and if yes, how?

Yes, you can use Word to send messages through Outlook for this -- if you can create the letters using the data in the spreadsheet to fill in the fields in a mail merge letter. --
