caused your other problem. Go to
www.lavasoftusa.com and download a free
copy of Ad-Aware. Then cick on Tools, Internet Options and hit Delete Files
to empty your Temporary Internet Files. Then stay of the net after that
until repaired as the spyware can multiply with net access. If you don't
already have your system setup to show hidden files and folders, then open
up My Computer. Click on View, Folder Options, View tab and check the box
for Show Hidden Files and Folders. Next browse your way to c:\documents and
settings\<username>\local settings\temp and empty the folder. Next browse
your way to c:\windows\temp or c:\winnt\temp whihever the case may be and
empty that folder. Finally, empty your recycle bin.
Start Ad-Aware and at the main startup screen, click on Check for Updates
and do so each new day that you scan as updates are release many times a
month. Next, scan your system and at the results screen, right-click on any
checkbox and choose Select all objects. Hit Finish to quarantine all the
items found. Repeat the scan over and over until it finds no more. If you
get to a point that a stubborn few will not delete, you can post a message
