Outlook 2003 SP-2:
I'm attempting to send an e-mail to my co-workers on our Intranet. The
e-mail includes a link to a PowerPoint file in a sub-folder on one of our
shared network drives. One of the folders in the path is named "#network".
Another folder contains spaces in the name. Not sure, but I think the "#"
symbol is stopping the link from working correctly. Renaming folders is not
an option. When my co-workers receive the e-mail and click on the link, they
get a "Locate Link Browser" dialog box instead of the intended PowerPoint
file.
Why is this happening? Is there a work-around?

Thanks

Point it to IEXPLORE.EXE and see if it works now. It could still end up not
working because of the #-sign which is reserved for bookmarks within a page.
A space can be overcome by placing the entire location between < and >
