e-mail detection program always say "cannot access e-mail server" because internet not available.

my notebook with winxp home use wireless to connect to the internet
everytime i login, the e-mail detection will immediately pop-up say that
internet not available can't access mail server.

because wireless connection usually slightly slower than LAN. how to make
this email detection program as well as MSN messenger not to run until
wireless connection established

You didn't mention which email program you are using. There should be an
option in the email program to start and download the mail when you first
logon. You need to disable this option and simply start the program manually
after the connection is established. Perform the same steps with MSN
Messenger.

If this is a legitimate program and you recognize the user name and mail
server, simply remove the check mark from the "Mail Checking" option in that
program.
