E-mail attachment can't open it exept adobe docs

I'm can¨t open inbound e-mails attachment exept adobe docs.When I've click
the paperklips ,got a questions if I wont Open it ,an I axept. Then it return
to inbox

What is the part of the file name of the attachment starting with the last
period? If you don't have a program for opening a file of this type, it
won't open.
 
This come up when click on paperklips,meeting,14.11.2007-1 doc(22KB).This is
worddocs.?? and I've got office Home and Student 2007+ microsoft works so
what more do I need?? Odd
 
You might try saving the attachment to a file, then double clicking to the
file. This sometimes helps when Vista is only partially set up with the
ways of handling such a file.
