Am I correct in assuming that when I save or archive an e-mail to a .archive
or .pst file or "Personal Folder" Outlook saves all attachements to the same
folder. Some of the attachements are quite large, like AutoCad files etc.
and I don't what to lose them when I archive the e-mail.

There is no .archive and a pst-file and Personal Folders are the same thing.

Anyway, you move entire items so including the attachment.

Thanks...
