Although the E drive on my laptop plays dvd's perfectly it no longer plays
audio cd's, despite being cleaned all I get is 'no disk in drive'. As its
only just over 28 days old it would have to go back to the manufacturer
(Acer) for repair. Anyway I can get it going again?

The drive is most likely faulty. Take it back to the manufacturer. The part that is
associated with CDs is the problem. Different lasers.

Don't blame you. I had to get my new one replaced, but I only had to take it to the shop
and it was replaced withing 30mins.
Just inconvenient.

| Thanks for response, I'm reluctantly returning it along with a very
