Hi,
Is there a way to have a "dynamic flow" on a slide?
I have a slide with a factory layout. I want to present the flow of
material in the factory as a line with arrows (showing the direction)
that gets longer and longer when activated in a pre-defined route. for
example, the line starts from lower left corner, gets longer and
progress upward, then turns right for a certain length, then left,
right ...
Thinking of it is like the snake game, but it has an arrow instead of
the snake's head. It would be even better to have arrows along the path
(pointing parallel to the line)

I use PowerPoint2003.

Thanks in advance,
Steph.

I would first create a series of dynamic arrows (contrasting color, beveled,
drop shadow, etc) in an image editing program (ie. PhotoShop) that fit the
defined paths/steps. Then animate each with a PEEK IN animation so it
appears to move and grow. Have the current one FADE OUT as the new one PEEKs
IN over it to.

As with most of my presentations, this slide would require almost as much
time working outside PPT (in PhotoShop) as in. Just an idea of how to add
some extra "wow."

Hi Noa,

Send me your email address. I have a race car game that moves through a
maze that does exactly what you're describing. I'll be happy to send you a
slide that you can copy/paste/modify.
