Whenever I start up my system (WinXP) I get an error message to the
effect that "screensaver.scr" cannot start and to select a program to
run it. I checked and in my Startup folder are: DWIN32.exe and
screensaver.scr. I delete the both of them yet when I start up my
machine again they are both there. It must be a virus or something.
Can anyone help?

Try Start/Run/msconfig/startup tab...see if something there is trying to
start...if so, uncheck it, and reboot. Hope that's it.

I'm pretty sure you knew what my reply meant, but, I just want to
clarify..."see if something there is trying to
start...if so, uncheck it, and reboot."....uhhhh, I meant uncheck it if it
looks like something having to do with the item giving you the error
message...Ahhh, you knew that. :o)

I did understand and I tried that several times. All to no avail.
Something is making DWIN32.exe and screensaver.scr startup everytime.
