dvd's won't play

Same problem as Tim & Dave - upgraded from ME to WP Home
and can't play dvd's. Can upgrade InterActual Player so
that it's compatible with XP but I don't have a credit
card!!, and I need a place here in Calgary, Canada where
I can go buy some software to install. I've been told
that windows media player 9 will let me play dvd's but
mine won't. Any solutions?

If you can't order online goto a local computer store and buy a software DVD
player
