I have tested both, and with either I cannot make DVD-video
that play in standalone DVD player. DVD works on PC but
DVD player only display "Cannot play". Tested with DVD±R(W).

Maybe I do something wrong with those two, but Nero done
correctly working DVDs (Source material was same in all cases,
made with DVD Shrink).

Oh, I didn't remember correctly: Deepburner was one, and
CDBurnerXP Pro was another that I tested (BurnAtOnce did
not recognize my DVD drive).

Yes, I know the DeepBurner that came in two versions: Pro and Free. It is also support the CD-R/CD-RW, and DVD+R/RW. I think DeepBurner is the best software for DVD burning. It supports the operating system such as window XP/ Vista.
