DVD Trouble

I am having trouble playing DVDs on my laptop. When windows media player
plays the dvd i get sound but no video/picture, just a black screen. Please
help
 
Reinstall your DVD decoding software, usually PowerDVD or WinDVD. If you're
unsure on how to reinstall an individual application, please see your
notebook manual.
