DVD subtitles color

Is there a way to change the subtitles color when playing
a DVD, my system is showing subtitles in a green color,
very hard to read, no matter the movie or the software (I
use windows Media player and WinDVD).
 
Sorry, the subtitle is permanently put in by the film
company, it is and will always be whatever color they
chose.
