Dvd rom lost

I don't know how but I lost my cd\dvd. I can not even open it. The yellow
light is on.

In contoll panel I can not find anything about my cd\dvd drive and I can not
reinstall the driver.

Well if the light is on and you can't open it then it's probably a hardware
problem which means you'll need to replace it or return it to the
manufacturer for a replacement.

PS. If there's a disk in there you need back, you can put a heavy duty
paperclip in the small hole, which will manually open the drive.
