VCL, as CoMa said, can do that. The option is in Open File (*not* Quick
Open File):
Open File > Disk > DVD (*not* DVD (menus)). Next to "Device name" type
the appropriate drive letter, e.g.: E:
Alternatively, you can pass the option as a parameter, e.g., via a
desktop shortcut icon:
* Make a new VLC shortcut on the desktop
* Give it a name, say, "nomenus"
* Right-click on it and select "Properties"
* In Target, after the path, add this: "dvdsimple://X:"
X stands for the drive letter. Now the line should be like this:
"C:\Programme\VideoLAN\vlc.exe" dvdsimple://I:
* Double-click the icon to jump straight to the movie in the drive.
Also, VLC, by default, skips everything before the DVD menus. This can
be changed through Preferences > Input/Codecs > Access Modules > DVD
with menus > Start directly in menu. (I can't imagine why anyone would
want to do that, but it can be done.)
