DVD Drive - Region Free

Hi.

I have a DVD Drive. I have verified that it is Region Protected. So i had a look at your Make your DVD drive region free Guide , so i went to look at the make of the DVD Drive.. I can't find one..

Currently my DVD Drive is connected through a Raid PCI Card. When i go to device manager it just says:
IDE DVD-ROM 16X SCSI CdRom Device

How can i find out the manufactuer so i can find some firmware to make it region free?

Download everest...do a google you should find it...and that should tell you the manufacturer of your dvd rom...

if your running XP right click the drive in my computer then click on properties click the hardware tab at the top and there will be a list of the drives installed
