dvd burning

can anybody tell me how to remove the directors voice from dvd
it seems that rented dvd's have a directors running commentry.
where as a brought dvd dose'nt.
when i rip the dvd it asks if u want the menu's and chapters
i tell it no
when i burn just the movie and playback there is the film sound
but with a directors voice narrating the film.
any views will b appreciated

Yes, movie piracy is very bad, etc. etc. It depends which software you use
to burn the movie but with Pinnacle Instant Copy for instance, there is a
choice of which audio track to burn with the video. You must just be making
the wrong choice when you're making that selection- scrutinize your audio
choices before you start the burn. IIRC, it's generally the 5:1 surround
audio files that contain the movie soundtrack, while the commentary tracks
are generally something less spectacular.
