DVD Burner

Hi I recently purchased a Sony DVD burner 510AK and it
won't let me burn as i would in windows with a normal
CDRW, it, itself is a DVDR/RW/CDR/RW, but it won't let me
burn DVD's in Windows by cutting and pasting the
files/folders into the Burners directory. just says
please insert Blank Media no media found even tho i have
a DVD RW in the drive?

please help me

If you mean a DVD-RW disk, have you formatted it first?

Are you using software that is capable of burning DVD's? Because XP's
inbred burning software can't. Try Nero, or Roxio.
