Ever since I installed SP2 from Microsoft, DV video playback has been very
choppy, and it seems the computer is working extra hard to try to process the
video. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Video: ATI Radeon 7000
DV Cam: Sony TRV310
Software: Adobe Premiere, Pinnacle Studio 9

Thanks

YES YES YES !!!

haven't found why or how to fix this. It is driving me
mad. I have tried changing programs, but the same thing
is happening.
would love to hear from anyone with an answer

MM2.1 is included in SP2.

I would check to see what else is running on the PC, it sounds like
something else is 'eating' up the available RAM.

Same HERE!!!

Rather the videos i'm playing are tooo bright and next to
invisible to see (like a big white box on full screen
mode) but the audio is fine...

I can't watch DVD, DivX, etc...

Help!!!!!

How do you find premiere and studio on your machine. I found no end of
trouble when testing studio 9 with my prefered premiere installed. Editing
apps can try to access shared files and cause problems, so I'd suggest
removing one or the other, depending on which you prefer to use. If removing
pinnacle ensure you use the registry cleaner app tehy supply.
