dust.exe file missing

hello id really appreciate any help if anybody can,i recently got a virus on my system which norton could not fix,it infected the dust.exe file,i had already made a back up of my files with norton so i erased the file thinking it would automatically restore the back up but it didnt,i have searched but cannot find the back up,now on start up i am recieving a warning of the missing file and programs are crashing does anybody have any advice

You need to finish the cleanup, read:

In a nutshell, you don't want that file back.
