Duplication of rows in Table when comparing.

This is such a pain... when comparing 2 documents (using Word2000) and there
is a table involved... it duplicates the blank lines of a deleted table.
How do I get it to STOP doing that!
 
Make sure you deleted the table and not just the data in the table row.
Select the handle on the top left of the table to select the entire table>go
to table>delete>table. This will delete the table. I think you have selected
the rows in the table and hit delete. This deletes the data but leaves the
blank table-good luck
