I have a double set of "Personal Folder" files on the
side bar. I have 2 calendars, 2 journals, 2 "IN"boxes,
2 "SENT" boxes, etc.

Not sure how I added the 2nd one, but I can't find
anywhere to delete. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

If you cannot R click and close the duplicate set, you need to remove its
reference in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
Messaging Subsystem\Profiles\Outlook

Within the Outlook folder, there are a bunch of folders with long
hexadecimal values for names -- those are the ones you need to look in to
see if you can find the ghost .PST names. If you delete one of the keys and
it points to your real .PST file instead of one of the ghosts, it's not the
end of the world -- your data won't be gone. The worst you would have to do
is recreate your Outlook profile.

Hi,
I am having a similar problem, but with my mailbox folder from our server
showing twice.
Looked at registry as below, but can't see what to delete.

That's because the instructions are for a PST file, not Exchange Server. You
need to talk to your Exchange Administrator.

Go to Tools, Services, and see how many Personal Folders exist. You may
wish to check the Properties of each to determine where they are
located before removing them from the profile.

Although, it may be possible to right-click and "Clost Personal Folder"
on one of the top-level Personal Folders. I'd still check Properties on
each so I'd know where they were located.
