duplicate names

We changed our email group name from Staff-mail to Staff-email. When my
boss goes to send out a mass email he types staff and takes the first option
which is the incorrect one. No one gets his emails and he is now on me to
repair this problem. How do I rememove the incorrect name in his To:
choices?

He is choosing the name from cache then. When the list pops up select the
wrong one with your Arrow Keys and press DELETE
