Duplicate local folders displayed with duplicate entries in calander

Hi,

I have two "Local Folders" displayed in my "All Mail Folders" and I can't
delete one of them. This poses a problem for me with the program Agendus and
my calander entries. Aside from that I want to get rid of one of them as
they are duplicates. I have no idea how to do it. I might add that this is a
new computer and I used the Microsoft transfer program to bring all my
settings over, so this might be one of the issues.

If anyone has a solution please try to be specific so that I can walk myself
through it.

Before creating a new profile try to get rid of this double folder with

Christian, I was really hoping that this would work but item 3 is greyed out
and not available. I looked at the registry and was trying to figure out how
to fix the registry but I have a lot of entries there and think I might
screw it up.

If I save my outlook pst file to a flash drive and then uninstall outlook
completely and then reinstall, can I import the pst entries into the new
outlook and have it work.

Ok, the registry stuff scared me, but I read further and was able to create
a new profile and import my stuff. That did it and I trashed the other
files. Thanks so much for all the help

The thing to do is to create a new mail profile, as Diane said, and
configure it to use your existing PST.

Never import a PST. There's not need. Use File>Open>Outlook Data File to
open it. Then click Tools>E-mail Accounts>Next and use the "Delivery new
mail to the following location" drop-down at the bottom to make the old PST
the delivery location.
