Duplicate EMails SOMETIMES Appear

I am running Windows 2k Pro and Office XP with all applicable patches
applied to both. Most of the time all works well. However, sometimes I wind
up with duplicate emails in my Outlook inbox. This does not happen all the
time, does not happen very often nor does there seem to be any pattern to
the frequency. It's just that sometimes wind up with duplicate emails in my
inbox. Any suggestions on where to look for the cause would be appreciated.

First, make sure they're not actually on the server using a webmail
interface if you can. If you have more than one account accessing the same
ISP mailbox, this can happen. If you have an antivirus or antispam program
integrated with Outlook, this can happen.
