Duplicate emails in Inbox

I'm getting multiple copies of the same email in Outlook.
Any ideas?

check your rules in outlook, you may have one which
copies to a folder.

How does having a rule create duplicates? I get this
problem with emails from certain sources and not others.
The rules in place are the same for all.
Any ideas?
