Hello

We used to only have Outlook XP access our server's email using POP.
Our server runs Exchange 2000.

We know this does not fully utilise the integration between Outlook
and Exchange. So we decided to add the Exchange account to the Outlook
clients. We successfully did this with the POP account as default.

However some of the computers started to receive duplicate incoming
email. What can we do to fix this?

I'd make the Exchange account the default and test again. Make sure your
recipient policy is set up with yourdomain.com as well as yourdomain.local
or whatever local AD DNS name you're using.

OT, but you're still not taking full advantage of having Exchange. See
http://www.msexchange.org/tutorials/MF002.html for info on centralizing all
your mail on the Exchange server. All you need is an Internet connection & a
registered Internet domain for mail. Very simple - much better than your
current setup.

Where are the dupes from - the POP account? If you change the default as I
suggested does this still occur?
