Duplicate e-mails

Hi,

One of my users Outlook often receive the same e-mail with two copies. Does
anyone get any idea on what is happening? The user is using Outlook 2002
with the latest service pack and fixes.
 
Is the second copy an attached .txt file? If yes, then shut down Outlook
(rebooting windows also helps) and reopen Outlook. This seems to happen
when the program has been open for a long time - >week(s) or more.

If e-mails get stuck in the users inbox this means that the data base has become corrupted. If you delete or move the .idx files under the Outlook directory this will force Outlook to rebuild it's database. Saved e-mails will not be lost. Good luck.
