I am running low on disc space. My operating system has been accepting the
normal upgrades via the internet and not CDROM. I can find the duplicate and
triplicate files. I recognize the "self-healing proprites" of OS. The
multiple files have extentions mostly like .dil or .dll or something like
that. while they are teh same name, size and cechsum they are in different
folders, such as cashe, or system, or 32 system or system32.
How can one tell which ones can be removed?
Does the Microsoft upgrades remove olderversions or install in different
folders same shared files?
What is the best method for keeping these files down to a small number.
Thank you
