duplicate accounts

I have somehow created two identical email accounts in outlook express, I
have tried to delete one and it deletes ok, but the next time I restart o/e
there it is back again,how can I get rid of this rouge account ?.

I just had that happen in Outlook! I dumped the whole darn computer (a
2003 model HP running XP basic) and got a new
one...hahaha...downgraded(?) to Express and haven't seen it since. Am
using XP Pro now and couldn't be happier. I loathe an email client that
sets new IMAP folders and duplicates accounts that cannot be deleted. I
am fairly adept at configuring a client so this kind of thing gets me
goofy. I remember T.Bird doing this at a time or two long ago. So, I am
back to basics using Express. Maybe you can ask at emailaddresses.com's
forums about this behaviour, they should have an answer there, there
are some client experts there! Good luck!
