OK, I had the blue screen that said:
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen , restart your computer. If this screen appears again , follow thes steps :
Run a system diagnostic utility supplied by your hardware manufacturer.
In particular , run a memory check , and check for faulty or mismatched memory. Try changing video adapters.
Disable or remove any newly installed hard ware and drivers. Disable or remove any newly installed software. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components , restart your computer press F8 to select advanced startup options , and then select safe Mode.

Beginning dump of physical memory
Dumping physical memory to disk :

I looked it up in the newsgroups and someone replied saying to check the System Log in the Event Viewer to find out what exactly caused this....
the errors I had were:
- W32Time.... which is on the list ALOT
- Service Control Manger
And a Warning..... Dhcp - the description is: Your computer has automatically configures the IP address for the Network Card with network address 00055DA28FDB. The IP address being used is.....

Any Ideas??? Please??

Imagine you have an automatic bread making machine. After putting in the
ingredients, you turn it on. What comes out after two hours is a piece of
brick. Now you can start scrutinizing the recipe and analyzing the
ingredients. But what is more logical is to check first if the machine is
working properly.

I suggest your approach to the problem is incorrect. Analyzing the software
error report is futile unless what processes the software, i.e. hardware, is
working correctly.

How to proceed in checking out the hardware is given in the 'warning' you
described.

Hope this helps.

Bee.
