duel boot

When I try to setup duel boot (win98 on c drive xp on e:drive) C drive is one disk and d,e,f, is a second disk partitioned.
The result is, after xp checks the disk, an error comes up stating: "Drive C is corrupted and xp cannot be loaded. But I've selected drive e? What has drive C got to do with it. I selected new installation. HELP!!!!

Hi,

Make sure you install 98 first and then XP.
