HOW DO YOU DUEL BOOT XP HOME AND 2000P

I HAVE BOTH OS ON SEPARATE HARD DRIVES AND BOTH HARD DRIVES ARE ON THE PRIMARY IDE CONTROLER (NOT IN SLAVE MOD)

WHICH EVER I INTALL LAST WILL HOLD A GOOD SYSTEM32 FILE.

WHEN I TRY THE OLDER OS I GET A SYSTEM 32 ERROR.

Both must be FAT32. Install your primary desired OS,
then the secondary. It should recognize it.

Greetings --

First of all, please unstick your CapsLock key. Posting in all
caps, as you have done, is the Usenet equivalent of shouting, and is
considered very rude. More importantly, posting in all caps makes the
post very hard to read, further reducing your chances of getting help.

Quite incorrect. Neither partition need be formatted as FAT32.
Both Win2K and WinXP can read FAT12 (the file system used on 3.5"
diskettes), FAT16, FAT32, CDFS (the file system used on most CDs), and
NTFS with equal facility. The OP and portion of the error message
cited makes absolutely no mention of the file system in use, so why
would you even offer your irrelevant tidbit.

And the best way to set up a dual-boot is to install the older OS
first, not the one that may be the favorite.
