Hi, my first posting at this group. I am a student doing holiday work with a
hotel. I want to plot following 3 sets of data on a graph:

1. hotel average daily rate (ADR) in $ terms
2. revenue per available room (REVPAR) in $
3. occupancy in %

REVPAR is a derivative of ADR and occupancy.

If the x-axis has dates, and left y-axis has "dollars", data in 1 and 2
above can easily be plotted. What I would like to do is to also plot
occupancy in % on right y-axis. So the right axis will have "percentage"
from 0 to 100. Theoretically, it is possible for occupancy to be over 100%
but that's another matter.

How can I create such graph with 2 y-axis and x-axis. I searched all over
the net with google but I just cannot get the right tip.

Hope to hear soon.

ps

PS I had to inflate one of the revpar figures else it was too close to the x axis to actually select as 55% is also $0.55.

Column 4 is revpar (Column 2 * Column 4 - you appear to only have one room)

In Excel

Add a second axis
When the range of values for different data series in a 2-D chart varies widely, or when you have mixed types of data (such as price and volume), you can plot one or more data series on a secondary value (y) axis. The scale of the secondary axis reflects the values for the associated series.
Click the data series you want to plot along a secondary value axis.
On the Format menu, click Selected Data Series, and then click the Axis tab.
Click Secondary axis

Thanks David...appreciate your suggestion. It worked. Cheers.
