I have a 2-monitor setup (for trading the stock market) which makes it
impossible to play a game we got my child for Christmas. Apparently it won't
work in a "shared" graphics card environment, or something like that. So,
does anyone know a way to disable the second monitor temporarily so that this
game can be played? Thanks.

Hi,

It would be in the control panel/display/settings tab/advanced button,
precisely where in here depends on your graphics driver.

Just go to Display Properties/Settings, click on the "display graphic"
representing the second display and then uncheck the checkbox to "Extend
....".
