Dual install problems

I have a laptop with a dual installation oh XP Pro, both w/ Office XP Outlook. I have hard errors on the drive that will not allow me to start one instance of XP, and need to recover the default user's Outlook files (email, contacts, Notes, etc) before I replace the hard disk and re-install. I can boot the other install of XP, and can see all files on the hard disk. Is there a way to combine the contacts, email, etc. or at least open the other data set so that I can copy info?

I believe you can open the pst on the bum drive into a working profile. The
you would just drag and drop out of the pst into the one you are using. Go
to File | Open | Outlook Data File.. This is in OL2003 but I believe XP has
the same functionality. The other way is to import the pst.
