Dual gigabit lan connection to internet?

I just got a motherboard with dual gigalans and I ahve been unable to connect
to the internet with them. I can ping out but that is about it. I have
reinstalled windows and updated completely. I have installed a network card
and have found no problems with that.

Any ideas on what it could be?

What does your configuration look like? What type modem and/or router are
you using? One computer or many? does your LAN say you have a network
connection or does it have a Red "X" on it? Can you connect to the ethernet
when a computer is connected directly to the modem? Do you even have a
cable/dsl modem or are you using dialup?
