How do u make a dual boot? I have 2 hard drives that
work fine one with windows me that is for back up and one
with windows xp pro. How do i make it so that i can get
a choice as to which one i want to boot to. Right now it
goes straight to Xp.

hi;

There might be another way to do this but as far as I
know I think you talking about acquiring a copy of
PartionMagic; loading it and let work it's magic. That
is the only way I know to do a dual boot.

I know because I have Win98 and xp home on the same drive
using bootmagic, a part of PartitionMagic, and they are
very happy together.

Hope this helps.

This from Woody in an earlier message:
You can set Win98 to dual boot with XP even though XP is installed on C.
Try this link and follow directions exactly. Works perfectly.

If ME was installed to C on one drive and you changed drives and installed
XP to C on the new drive, you will have to use a third party boot manager or
have a Bios that allows choosing the boot drive.
