I decided to install another hard drive as it's become necessary to run different MS office packages on my computer due to work. I'm not a hardware person and have had nothing but problems getting this problem fixed. I was able to format my 2nd drive and load XP on it like I have on my original drive, but I get the following message when I try to access it: "Windows could not start because of a computer disk hardware configuration problem
Could not read from the selected boot disk. Check boot path and disk hardware
Please check the Windows documentation about hardware disk configuration and your hardware reference manuals for additional information."
One cable attached to the mother board was originally configured along with my 2 CD drives. The other cable attached to my zip drive, which I've removed and put it on my new hard drive. The new hard drive is being seen my system, but when I select it from the boot.ini prompt, the error message appears. I'm beginning to fear this is beyond what I can do
Please advise..
