I can be on all day long conencted with my dial up. As soon as I try and connect using my DSL I can be online for only about 10 mintues then I am taken to a page cannot be displayed page. If I reboot, again I get another 10 minutes or so. If I dial-up I can stay connected forever. We are on our 3rd DSL box and they say it is working perfectly. Our computer guy says he can find no problems. I took my modem to work and tried it there and I have the same crazy problem. I am at my wits end. I have been told by tech suport that this could be a bug with XP? Has anyone heard of this or experienced it?

I have seen no reports of that here, and QWest DSL is rock solid at this
location.

Check OUR TOOLS at http://www.dslreports.com
Just for kicks, run the Tweak Tool and see what it reports and suggests.

Some ISPs may use pings to test if the line to the user is still
occupied. Sounds like your firewall does not permit this. You might
try enabling it for testing purposes. In XP's firewall right-click the
connection,go to properties, advanced tab, click in the lower button,
go to the ICMP tab, it's the first item.

Good luck
