Have 3 drives, 2 striped and 3rd for backups. On windows start, hangs in blue
chkdsk screen (task 4 of 5).

If I disconnect 3rd drive, Windows boots OK.

Please tell me I don't have to reinstall Windows and about 50 programs.

OK, I won't tell you that. It'll be true too, if you have proper
backup/archive processes in place and being used.

You need to supply more details.
