Dropped Laptop on Floor

Hi All,

I really need help, today i dropped my ACER laptop on the floor, and now it wont work, it wasnt a big fall but it landed with a thump and the battery fell out, i managed to get it back in, but it wont switch on, the power is going to it ok but nothing comes up on the screen at all.

CAN ANYONE HELP??????????????

Ouch :(

Sadly.. you may have broken part of the PCB that connects to the screen. I would not suggest taking it to pieces.. instead.. call ACER first thing in the morning.

They were very helpful when my fiancee spilt a hot cup of coffee on her laptop :)

dont panic just hope it aint nothing too serious

r u sure there is no screen output? prehaps u tured down the contrast or briteness?
check this first, then look to turn it off and on again.

ttry putting a floppy disk in the drive and power it on, just any floppy.

if all fails ring em up, Acer of course

topman do u have insurance is it coverd on home one if u mean screen does not work try plug another monitor into vga out ujust may of broken sreen lightiv not dropped mine yet
