dropdown does not drop own

I have a problem where if I go to file and then save as.
I click on the arrow for the dropdown menu to choose a
location to save the file and the dropdown does not drop
down. It usually takes about 3 goes before it works.
Please help.

My guess is that it works fine, you are likely being impatient. This
was a very annoying problem on Win2K and for the most part,
resolved in XP and Win2K/SP4

Try just one click, then WAIT ! If it works, but takes a long
time, you likely have a reference somewhere to a network share
that no longer exists or is inaccessable(same thing I guess).
