i stumbled on to a drop down box that is not a combo box from either the
control toolbox or forms toolbar, unfortunately i cannot remember what
i did.
there is a cell which i some how "linked" to a named range of cells on
another worksheet in the workbook. when i left click in the cell, the
drop down arrow appears (otherwise it is not visible nor does it print)
and the list from the named range appears, then i left click on the
item i want and it puts it in the cell.
if i right click in the cell, i get the typical menu. if i right click
on the down arrow, nothing happens, unlike what would if it were a
combo box.
the content of the cell is whatever item i have picked from the list,
there is no traditional link to the named range of cells.
to my knowledge, it is not the "pick from list command" that appears by
right clicking in a cell. the list i am able to choose from is a named
range of cells on a different worksheet.
any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
thanks!
